Giles is a partner in the Corporate/Corporate Finance practice of international law firm, Squire Sanders, and is based in its London office.  His expertise covers public company transactions including takeovers and other UK Takeover Code transactions, IPOs, reverse takeovers and public equity fundraisings on the Main Market/ AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange. Giles was an Assistant Secretary at the UK Panel on Takeovers and Mergers between 2000 and 2002 and is a member of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (which consults on proposed changes to UK listed company law and regulation). He has been asked to speak at conferences on topics related to the capital markets and, in particular, in relation to takeovers and continuing obligations for AIM companies.
