Daniel Lampert’s practice focuses on aviation transactions, financing, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy. In aviation matters, he has represented various commercial and private jet owners and financing entities in domestic and international transactions, including representing Avensa, then the largest private Venezuelan airline, in placing the first Boeing 757 aircraft into Latin America. Mr. Lampert’s clients have included DHL Aviation, Piper Aircraft, Aloha Airlines, Cirrus, and Gulfstream International Group. He has represented lessors of commercial jet aircraft to Aeromexico, and represented one of the largest independent executive jet dealers in a successful out of court restructuring exceeding $500 million of secured debt on aircraft. Mr. Lampert has also worked closely with the firm’s reorganization team on several airline bankruptcies.
