His practice involves the representation of clients in oil and gas, energy, shipbuilding, offshore supply, platform and pipeline finance and construction projects, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure and tax related matters. Started his career in 1989 as in-house counsel for Shell in Brazil, he worked at an important Brazilian law firm, becoming the head partner of the Oil and Gas practice in 2001.
He is the author of the book “A Evolução do Monopólio Estatal do Petróleo” and of many articles published in national and international magazines. He was the coordinator of the selection “Temas de Direito do Petróleo e Gás Natural I - II”.
He studied at the Université Robert Schuman, Strasbourg, (Certificat des Hautes Études Européennes) and has a Master degree in International Law by the University of São Paulo.
