Mindy Nunez was born and raised in a small fishing community outside of New Orleans, Louisiana.  She attended law school at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and studied abroad in Berlin, Germany. After law school, she moved to Chicago, Illinois where, as an insurance defense attorney, she solo-chaired over fifty jury trials and maintained a winning record.  Since moving back to New Orleans in 2011, Mindy has obtained two “zero” verdicts at trial and negotiated countless favorable settlements for her clients.  As an associate at Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith, Mindy continues to practice insurance defense with a focus on medical malpractice and hospitality law.
