Mike is a partner who specialises in advising lenders and borrowers on all types of corporate working capital finance products with particular reference to Asset Based Lending, receivables, inventory and equipment finance transactions in addition to Trade Finance and Supplier and Supply Chain Finance. Mike has over ten years' industry experience in the sector.
 
Mike has worked with many Asset Based Lenders in establishing their standard form funding and security documentation as well as providing transactional advice to UK Banks, their subsidiaries and specialist independent financiers on the provision of all types of acquisition, turnaround and growth finance.

He also regularly advises on issues ranging from domestic refinancing and portfolio management and transfer issues and group restructuring arrangements through to more unusual structures ranging from Off Balance Sheet Financing and back-to-back receivables financing structures as well as cross-border facilities.

Mike advises several UK Banks in relation to the provision of Trade Finance facilities, and both borrowers and lenders on the legal aspects of both bi-lateral Supplier and hosted Supply Chain Finance products.

Mike has delivered numerous training courses on behalf of the Asset Based Finance Association as well as providing in-house training to Asset Based Lenders tailored to their particular requirements.
