Alaina is a solicitor in CMS Cameron McKenna’s Commercial, Regulatory and Dispute Resolution Group.  She trained at the firm and qualified in 2009.

She specialises in advising on a wide variety of insurance and reinsurance matters, with a particular focus on insurance disputes.  In addition to acting for insurers on a wide variety of cases, she handles a broad range of professional negligence claims, including acting for insurance brokers and solicitors.  

Alaina regularly advises on heavy weight litigation matters as well as international and cross-border disputes, utilising her language skills.  She has recent experience of successful interlocutory applications.  In addition, she also has experience of commercial and financial disputes, fraud and injunction matters, defamation and other confidentiality issues, regulatory concerns and insurance policy reviews.

In 2010 Alaina completed an extended secondment to the legal team of a broking house where she spent six months dealing with a number of commercial client issues and advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious commercial and insurance related matters.
