Mr. Al Hakim Hanafiah, S.H., LL.M. is one of the founding partners with the Law Firm Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners, Jakarta, Indonesia. Graduated from a well known law school in Indonesia, Faculty of Law University of Indonesia, Mr. Hanafiah continued to hold his master law degree in University of Washington School of Law, Seattle, USA. Mr. Hanafiah is a registered Advocate with the PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association) as well as an Indonesian Capital Markets Legal Counsel.

As a corporate lawyer, Mr. Hanafiah has been practicing law for more than 25 years with areas of specialization in natural resources, foreign direct investment, M&A and restructuring, and banking and financial services. During his career, Mr. Hanafiah has been assisting lots of foreign investors as well as the domestic ones in forming and structuring their investment plan and corporate business activities in Indonesia.
