Specialises in healthcare law, in particular advising private sector providers and care home operators and the NHS. Is a recognised expert in mental health law. Advises extensively on operational healthcare issues including regulatory matters and prosecutions, inquests and untoward incidents. Lectures regularly to the health sector and is the author of several publications including “Mental Health Law Compendium”, the mental health chapter of Butterworths “Health Services Law and Practice” and “The Labour Ward Manual”.
