DIVINA P.V. ILAS-PANGANIBAN is currently a Partner in the Intellectual Property Department of the ANGARA ABELLO CONCEPCION REGALA AND CRUZ (ACCRA) Law Offices.  She specializes in all aspects of protection of intellectual property rights of various clients in the Philippines and other countries. She is involved in the review, preparation, and registration of all kinds of technology transfer arrangements including licensing and franchising agreements for both local and foreign clients. She also conducts regulatory and compliance audits for different product and service lines. She regularly handles the prosecution and maintenance of trademark, service mark, patent, industrial design, utility model, plant variety applications, and product registrations before the Philippine Intellectual Property Office (IPO) and other government agencies.

Ms. Ilas-Panganiban has participated in several intellectual property conferences in the Philippines and abroad.  She is an active member of the Asia Patent Attorneys Association, Licensing Executives Society International, ASEAN Intellectual Property Association, and other local and international intellectual property organizations. 

Ms. Ilas-Panganiban graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in 1996.  She completed her Bachelor of Laws degree from the same university in 2000.  After law school, she was actively involved in several public interest cases relating to environmental and human rights law.  She was later engaged as a consultant of the Asian Development Bank.  She pursued further studies in law and finished with distinction the Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in Lund University, Sweden conducted by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and the World Intellectual Property  Organization (WIPO) Worldwide Academy. 

Ms. Ilas-Panganiban is married to Mr. Jose Benjamin M. Panganiban with two children, Marco Emmanuel and Annika Therese.
