PEM Corporate Finance (PEMCF) has been named ‘Boutique Corporate Finance Specialist of the Year – UK’ in the 2017 M & A Awards.

The team is thrilled to be recognised by international business magazine, Corporate LiveWire, following a string of completed disposal and management buyout transactions in recent months.

The 2017 M & A Awards publication highlights the key individuals and firms that have contributed to the global success of deal making and growth. Some of the best dealmakers, management teams, legal firms, financiers and professional advisers who, over the past 12 months have demonstrated excellence, have been recognised in the awards.

PEMCF, based in Station Road in Cambridge, advises owner managed businesses on all aspects of corporate finance transactions.

The judging panel highlighted the distinctive and personal approach which PEMCF takes to managing transactions and its enviable track record of helping clients to succeed.

Recently completed transactions supported by PEMCF include the sale of Nitritex to Ansell (See Page 8), the sale of Molecular Dimensions to Anatrace and the sale of Pope Woodhead Associates to Huron.

Jake Powers, Awards Director of the 2017 M & A Awards commented on the stature of the winners: “It is fantastic to see yet another year of successful mergers and acquisitions. Some of the largest firms have spent billions in M & A deals to put a new spin on technology, user activity and industry growth. We commend all the winners and I look forward to seeing their future developments.”

Lake Falconer, partner at PEMCF added: “I’m delighted that the support we provided to our clients over the past 12 months and the long hours our team put in to push deals through, has received recognition in this way.”
