Anna Bartunkova Strengthens the Weinhold Legal Team

Weinhold Legal has strengthened its expertise in labour law and litigation with the arrival of Senior Attorney-at-Law, Anna Bartunkova.
 
Ever since the establishment of the Prague office in 1996 and the subsequent founding of the Bratislava branch office in 1998, the legal practice of Weinhold Legal has maintained a strong presence in the Czech/Slovak markets.  The law firm currently boasts a team of more than 40 highly-qualified experts. 
 
Anna comes to Weinhold Legal from the Prague law office of HOLEC, ZUSKA & Partners.  Milan Polák, head of Weinhold Legal’s litigation and labour law team, commented on Anna’s arrival: “We represent many corporate clients in labour law disputes.  Further, as a result of the re-codification of the civil law, which became effective as of 1 January 2014, we face a massive increase in work related to the adoption of contracts amongst corporate companies and their managers, namely issues dealing with whether a manager is simultaneously an executive or a member of the board of directors.  Therefore, I am glad to see a strong practitioner joining our labour law and litigation teams.”
 
Anna graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague (JUDr.).  In 2005, she graduated from the Charles University Faculty of Law in Prague.  During her studies she also spent one semester studying law at the Paris Lodron University in Salzburg.  Apart from her native Czech, Anna speaks English and German.  Anna is a member of the Czech Bar Association.
